quotes We were just sessioning a little double. There was an upslope off to the left of the transition so I think I landed on that upslope along with being a little bit off-axis in the air. So, rather than landing flat on the down transition, I think I hit the upslope as well as having my weight too much on one edge of the rims and...bang. I must have landed both wheels at exactly the same time though because they both went at the same time - it was one almighty bang. Either that or there was something sharp, but I didn't see it if there was. I had a bit of a shoulder to root interface, too ;)

quotes On a mountain bike? 50-65 psi is way too high unless you are just riding fire road or something like that. Otherwise, around 35 is about right for most terrain, I find.

quotes was only running about 30psi so I don't think it was that. I think I landed slightly off axis and basically caused 2 massive pinch flats at the same time.

quotes It was reported that there may have been very high winds, so we took the precaution of weighing the cabin down.

The rock face? I've done that, mental. pretty much impossible (well... for mortals). You literally slide/skid down and gather speed. Would try again after a beer I reckon. Serious pain awaits at bottom if travelling at speed!
